This week I made a 2D design in Rhino using some photos of patterns I found around my house last week. I was inspired by a tile from Greece and a pillow from Ikea the most. I liked their organic designs and colour palettes. Here is a photo of both of them: Here is the photo of a tiled lego floor that I used as inspiration for the separates between each tile. Once in Rhino, I used ArrayCrv and ArrayPolar to make a radial design inside a square. I also used a new curved line tool, called InterpCrv, which made it easier to make organic shapes then previous line tools I have used. It is definitely one of my new favourite tools in Rhino. After I was done making the linework I used the tool Hatch to fill in the shapes with colour. It took a long time to find an efficient way to pick colours and keep consistency.
